Always max out Speech and Science first Without Science and Speech so many doors are unopened.

Hmm, that makes me kinda wanna install FWE or the NV equivalent... survival isn't the most difficult thing in the base game or lightly modded game. Sounds like a cool challenge.

Speech is the first skill that i aim to max out alongside this i usually get both science and lockpicking up so can accesses areas and stuff .

Sneak is always what I max first. Sneak attack crits make even the suppressed .22 pistol a force to be reckoned with. Other than that I prefer stealth to running everywhere guns-a-blazing. It just seems more logical to me to kill a group of enemies before they know I'm there. Saves ammo and medical equipment too.

I go with speech because in the long road you will need speech to get yourself out of all kinds of situations like legate lanius.

Speech Or Science, Speech in my opinion is overpowered but its super necessary. Science because of all the dialogue options and hacking terminals.

I go with guns,speech,lockpick or science I most likely to mix it up.

Lockpick.

I focus on guns first, to shoot raiders better. Then I work on Speech, Lock Picking, and Science skills next. But I have to have those gun skills to survive!

I always max out my speech and gun skills in both 3 and New Vegas.

Guns, Guns, and more Guns.

I always go Guns, Speech, and Medicine; especially Medicine because Stimpaks can be a real pain to find and it helps to get the most out of them.

yea the first two kills i try to max out first is guns and the second skill would have to be speech

guns- i need guns to be high to be able to kill my enemies faster and i use mostly guns not a melee type of guy

speech- i need speech for dialogue options for example maybe i need to be able to get out a situation or find out some better information and that always comes helpful in the fallout world

Small Arms and Speech. I like extra dialogue options.

Eloquence, then I swung weapons and stealth, hacking and for those repairs Eloquence sometimes helps to avoid the slaughter and save stimpaks

Guns or Energy weapons. If I'm starting new playthrough and thinking about using plasma rifle in future, or firearms - it's essential to max out it's skill asap. Even console-cheat it if I feel like I should. Just because I want to hit the spot gun is pointed at, without that "RPG" bullet spread.

Usually Guns and Medicine. Or otherwise, Energy Weapons and Melee.

Usually I max out speech, small guns, and repair.

Big Guns, Happy Guns, French Guns, Chicken McGuns, Coca-Guns.. wait that's my order for Mcdonalds.. woops, guess the same applies for Fallout.

Speech, because I love speech, it helps me a lot.
