I usually max out guns first before moving on to the next. I like guns and I like shooting limbs apart but yeah I'd max out guns since we're in a world of survival.

Generally I max out guns, lockpick, and speech. But If im doing a hardcore modded playthrough (PN settings to the max and a few other mods) I will do medicine, speech, and survival.

Speech, guns, explosives. Explosives makes up for lockpicking with a mod I have. Repair is also important.

Speech and sneak generally. Either talk through the problem or skim right past it. I generally don't try to make my characters fight much until later on.

I always max out Energy Weapons, then Guns, cause I love EVE and it makes my flamethrowers flames amazing with my Blackout ENB combined

Guns has always been first for me, but in doing that it makes combat too easy. So I try to pump as many points into all other skills first. Speech and Lockpick are always up there for me, but I can't ever remember when I actually wanted to use an energy weapon, their cool but It doesn't feel satisfactory or the same as gun.

Lucky is one of my favorites too! i always try to get as close to 75 Lockpick as possible by the time i hit Primm, simply so i can get that beauty! Of course, I have to start spending points on guns after that so i can use it more effectively haha.. Critical hits to the head for the win!

Speech Barter and Science, I focus on the ones that can influence other characters for better rewards etc first

The first thing I always pick is Guns. Its what I'm going to be using throughout the game right? I also make sure to max out my speech, and keep my repair, explosives, survival, unarmed, medicine, barter, sneak, and melee are at a very good level.



Be maxing out for days brah.

I level guns sneak and lockpick first as I am always finding something I need to open and I need to shoot and attacking in sneak mode can multiply my damage.

I almost Always level Speech to 100 first, as whenever there is a speech option, i HAVE to get it before proceeding on with whatever it is for(Quest/Reward etc..) as it bugs me if i don't, and i will make sure to go back and level up and get my speech to the required level. for example it took me quite a while to finish Lonesome Road because i wanted to get the speech check that required 100 points into speech when talking to Ulysses, so before i finished it i had to go and level up a couple times to reach 100 speech.

Usually guns or energy weapons, shoot first ask questions later, so i don't really need speech that much

Oh this is a fun topic. Umm... I always max out computers, lockpick and energy weapons and I spread the points evenly until they are complete.

Lockpick, then science. Gotta know what's behind that locked door.
