.22 weapons mainly cause they're garbage. Other than that, all energy weapons, mines, and most melee except knives and swords.

| I avoid anything vanilla, really. Except for what you start the game with, as you are doing the tutorial. I am bored by vanilla weapons, as many games just use much more modern weapon assets, and I'd really rather use whatever I port. _________________  |

| Melee/unarmed the animations just annoy me as they seem like an after thought. Hopefully FO4 has better melee options because I really want to try my Sniper/monkey knife fighter build.

| I never use any melee, unarmed and trowing weapons but I will however always carry a modded knife to use with Mister Sandman.
I also rarely use the big guns, energy weapons and mines.

| I hardly use any weapons other than the hunting rifle and "Sweet Revenge" from NVB I, but I'd say the least used would be the varmint rifle. It seems to me like not much more than a starting weapon. It probably is, but another that seems that way is the 9mm, and it works fine imo through most of the game. |

| Anything that does less than about 50 damage a shot. Though I do make an exception for the 9mm pistol, as I have a modded one i use in casinos.

Vault 22 is guaranteed to have one in the common area in a room with what looks like a dynamo of some sort, a bit like a generator. |

| Knives, .22 Pistol, 9mm and 10mm SMGs and dynamite. Mostly melee weapons.
I tend to use modded weapons, though I sometimes use weapons like the Gobi rifle or the grenade launcher (DLC). Started making my own modded melee weapons lately, so I'm beginning to see the potential there... _________________  |

| The Silenced .22 pistols. At first I thought "oh sweet a gun I can sneak into a casino!" then I realised it takes 8 bullets to a persons head to kill them and by then they've probably shot at you multiple times ruining any attempt at stealth. | I've rarely used melee weapons though I did a complete melee playthrough not too long ago. My forte is give the baddies as much lead as possible.

| Kobold, the silenced .22 is completely eclipsed by the silencer mod for the 10mm pistol. Especially because the 10mm hollow points are super effective against the unarmored casino guards.
