Like many before me, I hit the ~ key, enter "player.additem 000000f x" where x is the amount of caps I want, then I press enter.

I try not to do this, because I feel like its just shortcutting the fun experiences ! So I... you know sell drugs and shoot people - fun things.

I have a safe I made that respawns all types of currency, even gold bars from Dead Money that respawn. I try not to touch it, unless I'm in a hard place, but it's there in case. Eventually, I don't need the safe anymore. Caps accumelate quickly. Just a tip: Make your own weapon repair kits repair yourself whenever possible! This saves tons of caps. The Jurry Rigger perk that allows you to repair items with similar items saves a lot of caps as well.

I tend to farm misc stuff from monsters i kill and slowly make the caps up that way or just sneaky scavenge stuff >;x

I just collect junk and sell weapons i don't use,but i'm never super rich when i play these games,i'm always just having enough to afford some repairs or stuff

Depends on what the case is to be fair..
If its a mod that forces you to buy the item then I use "magic" and do the old "player.additem f #" command. If its just recreational then usually I go to the Slavers (if Fallout 3)or just doing mass murder of the NCR and/or Legion and take all of their gear and weapons (if F:NV that is, hate them both, Brotherhood is where its at).

I farm the hunting rifles of Supermutants, they are worth alot.... Or sneak around and steal everyone's stuff (100Sneaking speaks for me)

I immediately get on the bad side of the legion...and then farm Legion assaination squads. Win..Win as far as I'm concerned. Even at fairly low levels..their gear, after it is repaired up, can rack up caps. I bring a couple of followers to be pack mules and then roll into the Gun Runners...cha'ching! Casinos are great for early caps...that I immediately convert into cybernetic implants at the clinic.

Personally, I take Valve perk that gives me 75% of all the money in the surrounding area by just walking around.

I just go around killing legionaries and take there guns, sell them and make a pretty good profit. that or killing rad scorpions and take there tails.

I collect everything all the way down to the bent tin cans and clipboards, to avoid stealing and negative karma. When I hit 5 under my weight limit I head to a good merchant, depending on my level in-game, and cash out for ammo or repairs on armor and weapons. It really makes an honest wastelander out of you. But...screw the fiends and legion, I kill them and take their gear. Just my prerogative on my playthroughs.
