I like to travel around the world in third person because I feel like I run faster in third person. Sometimes I even do battles in third person, just so I can see my character in combat. Generally, movement and sneaking is done in third person, while battling is done in first person.

It's a bit of both for me. I like to play in first person because it encourages a bit of roleplay for me. It's like I'm seeing the world through my character's eyes and being able to witness their experiences more closely. Plus I grew up on FPS's growing up so I kinda treated the game as such sometimes, lol.

On the other hand, I also like third person because I like looking at what my character's wearing and there aren't really any mirrors in FO for me to do that. The only thing that keeps me from doing so is that god awful third person camera, but Enhanced Camera solves that issue for me. ^^

I never could get used to the 3rd person view in the Fallouts...even with the camera mods. Unless I'm taking screenshots I'm almost always in 1st person. I just really enjoy that 'seeing through the eyes' of your character aspect, plus with all the amazing texture mods out there I think you miss some of the details when in 3rd person...I prefer it all to be right in your face, so to speak.

By the way, is there any mod which can make NV's camera to be close to Skyrim's? Because I find it too harsh and raggy.

I prefer first person. I feel in first person I'm a lot more accurate when attacking whereas in third it's harder to hit a target, also the hud ruins the third person experience in my opinion.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen one, I'm really only aware of the Centered 3rd Person Camera mod and the I Love 3rd Person Camera mod...which can be customized. Not sure if it's exactly what you want, but give it a look and see it what you think. I played in 1st person when I played on consoles...But now, having so many awesome armors available I play in 3rd person...I like seeing the work put into the mods I use..

I generally like to play in first person in nearly all scenarios. It adds to the immersion especially when using enhanced camera, and occasionally PN's visor overlay if it doesn't get annoying. The only time I find myself using third person is to see how my character looks with all his cool armor.

Personally I think if they made some slight changes to 3rd person it would be really good, so with that being said im going to have to say 3rd person

Depends on the situation, I usually go 1st when I'm in combat but third when I'm roaming, in my opinion

First person while using "enhanced first person" mod is great. imo.

I used to be a 3rd person... person. But with these recent mods coming out that add immersion like that enhanced first person camera mod, I've switched to first person. I can't wait until pistols are added.

I like to use both. I mainly use first person for combat, everything else I usually do in third person. However when i get bored i might use third person for combat as well.

I usually go first person because there is a lot of work that can go on the third person camera. It feels extremely stiff playing in third person, but it's nice to have so I can appreciate the cool swag I can put on my Courier.

I play without HUD so first person is kind of a necessity for combat, but if I walk long distances I will use third person.
