The name says it all, what was the worst bug you have ever encountered that you just could NOT resolve?

I had issues in Skyrim that would really get me angry. I use the alternative start and and spend so much time to head to Whiterun (up to two hours) only to encounter quest bugs that would not resolve propperly. In other words I could not complete certain quests because the NPC's were missing dialogue. I started a new game four times but had no success. I liquedated my mod load order, reinstalled the game, reloaded mods and have not encountered the issue in a while. I still get paranoid of what might happen if something is screwed up.

I'd have to say the NCR rep bug in New Vegas where I had an idolized reputation and all NCR troopers attacked me on sight. I freaked out so much and didn't know what to do, thought my game was ruined. I google'd the problem and found some console command solutions to it thank god haha

For me it's a toss up...

I will never forget the New Vegas day one bug where the most recent save was messed up. After losing a few hours' progress I finally figured out that I could just save in two different slots and the first of the two would work when needed.

The second Is (again in New Vegas) being unable to directly load games that were svaed in exterior cells most of the time.

...and an honorable mention goes to how, again in New Vegas, sometimes cells don't fully load NPC's like Johnny Five Aces or the ghouls on the road to the Repconn Testing Facility, or Daniel Wyands body.

The most irritating bug I have experienced in New Vegas would have to the Brotherhood of Steel quest bug in which I could not complete it because Veronica would not initiate the dialogue with the elder. I ended up starting a new game due to that. Fallout 3 is a wildcard for me because of the random crashes that occur rather often and cannot be fixed. The bright side is that TTW is much more stable than vanilla Fallout 3.

In Fallout 3, I would crash every time I tried to go into the section under the water purifier after the Enclave started showing up and you had to escape through the pipe.

Everything I tried didn't work, it would just hard crash the game and I was unable to progress. I eventually tried installing it on Xbox and load a much, much earlier save and I was able to get past it. It soured my opinion on Fallout 3 because I never witnessed such a game breaking bug before on New Vegas.

The worst bug that happened to me was with modding Skyrim and I had lots of mods on and one of them were conflicting so I had to go though all my mods it was like 80 some mods it took forever and really sucked.

I had issues with my Skyrim at one point. I thought I would have to perform an exorcism on my computer. Whiterun was legitimately gone. I don't know where it went. I'm guessing my load order sent it and all its citizens to Sovengarde. That wasn't the only issue either, I couldn't play for more than 15 minutes without my game deciding that it'd lost the will to live. Pressing the quicksave button was essentially functioning as an Alt-F4 key. Those were sad times, I shed a tear just thinking about them.

Believe it or not, I actually have only ever experienced one bug, and this was on PS3.
Whenever I first started the game, Doc Mitchell's head would rotate fully and expand until it fully covered my screen...kinda like that video of it on youtube.

I think it's got to be in FNV. Every time I'd click "continue", it'd freeze on the loading screen. I had read that selecting "New" and loading the save worked, which it does. I have since done a re-installation of fnv, so I don't have that problem anymore. But damn, it was annoying at the time.

In Fallout 3, I had a bug that hit...

All of the NPCs would just stand there and stare at his body. None of Dr. Li's dialogue would que up, so it was just one big awkward moment. Kind of funny in hindsight, aside from being unable to progress.

Firstly I love the name and profile picture, Doctor :^)

secondly thats awful.

Not sure if this counts as a bug or glitch but i remember
the first time i played TES V Skyrim and in the intro sequence
the horses got drunk and launched up in the air, this made the intro
sequence impossible to complete.
I later learned that the engine got messed up from a high framerate (i think?)
and so i capped both my refresh rate to 60Hz and turned on v-sync and problem solved.
But that ride was a nightmare, ugh!

Why would you fix that bug??!!! I want a Pegasus in my game.

In Dead Money, here is a biggest one I've ever experienced:

1. Recruit Dog
2. Take him to his position by the switches instead of telling him to go to the fountain
3. Recruit dean
4. Do the same with Dean as with Dog
5. Engage dialogue with Christine
6. During the dialogue, the option to recruit Christine is not available
7. Once saying Goodbye to her, the screen locks with Christine staring straight ahead and you can't do anything.

I had to revert to a save prior to recruiting Dog in order to complete recruiting the three.

Mine well is a bit lackluster but its memorable because of how nothing it is , Skyrim Dragonborn dlc end game Mirrack encounter when i finally beat him he kinda disintegrates and turns to ash, for some reason his remains would glitch into the platform he was on so i reloaded the fight a few time always the same result so i use Tcl and get it . it stands out to me because if this were on console i would be screwed out of getting his loots and it seems to me like if it happen to me a few times how is that not fixed ? i mean its not game breaking but come on Beth not being able to loot a boss .

Loading into a save, loading takes extra time, but then screen goes black and program stops responding >-<
