I don't know if this was the right topic to put this in, move it if it's not where it should be.


This guide can help your GECK to run smoother and become way more responsive than it already is. This can get rid of the *Not Responding* when you load up your mod, I've also noticed that it wont crash as much, or at all, i only have a problem if i work on the same .esp for to long it wont let me open anything, I just re-load or restart the GECK to fix this.

So here's how you do it! Navigate to the folder where you exported your GECK, find the .exe and right click it, now simply go to: Properties then the Compatibility tab, now tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for: "Whatever OS you are using ex. Windows 8.1, windows 7, &windows 10 are the only ones I recommend you use this on. If you use windows 8.1 the choose windows 8, and so on.

Now, 4 check boxes down is the " Run this program as administrator" tick this, now click apply and your done.
