| If you could have a game that takes place in the Fallout universe, but wasn't an RPG (FPS, TPS, RTS, TBS) what would you prefer? For me, there are three main games I think would be interesting.
RTS: A fallout game that lets you take command of the main factions of America like the BoS (different regions like Western, Midwestern, and Eastern), NCR, Caesar's Legion, Super Mutants, and even raiders would be cool. You would have the chance to see and experience large scale battles in the various wastelands that weren't possible in New Vegas or Falout 3.
Battlefront style FPS/TPS: This one is similar to my RTS idea. A game that plays much like the Star Wars: Battlefront but takes place in the Fallout Universe utilizing factions from it but on the front-lines of these battles not being a spectator. It's another way to experience the big battles in the Fallout storyline for yourself.
FPS: Not a Battlefield of Duty FPS, but one like the Operation Flashpoint games which takes place during WW3 and you play as an American soldier in the years leading up to the Great War. Operation Anchorage scratched my itch a little, but since Fallout 3 was still an RPG the combat felt like an RPG. An emphasis on tactics and semi-realism (bullet drop, no regen health, bleeding out) without taking it too far like a simulator.
What ideas do you guys have? |

| Fallout as a FPS would be interesting,a fps like battlefield on a improved frostbite engine imagine the war zones mod but with more maps with 64+ people and destructible buildings it could focus on infantry warfare rather then tanks and helicopters. _________________ |

| I agree. Being able to see a mini-nuke destroy a fortified position, or maybe collapse a tunnel would be great features. |

| They tried an action game with RPG-elements. Top down view, too! Think they called it, of, Brotherhood of Steel. You should try it, its a gem, really. In all seriousness though, as long as it didn't distract the devs from FO4 or NV2, I wouldn't mind some branching out. I actually didn't hate BOS as much as many, its actually kind of playable, especially with a second player for co-op. |

| Tactical FPS Fallout and Arcade FPS Fallout both sound like interesting ideas. There are already a plethora of unique weapons for separate classes which would probably be implemented some what like Battlefield. Tactical FPS Fallout sounds a lot like Rainbow Six where movement isn't too much since you'll probably be all suited up in a badass case of T-51B armor and a Tri-beam Waser Wifle or something. A squad of T-51B units dropping in from a Vertibird into a dense concrete jungle in the dark sounds absolutely atmospheric and awesome Arcade FPS Fallout on the other hand would be a lot less viable because running around and bunny hopping everywhere is hard to pull off with the power armor being such a big part of Fallout. But it would still be cool and able to do because like I said the Fallout Universe is still diverse. Hell maybe there will be room for more content such as vehicles. We already have nuclear cars and vertibirds. In the end Fallout for the most part can only get better if we experimented outside of RPG elements. |

| Has anyone played FTL?
A management simulator like that could be fun, while being fallout themed. Maybe you control a "base" for raiders or the brotherhood of steel (maybe a "hoard all the tech" mode). |
