Joshua Graham as Ulysses is pretty much"I read a book on philosophy" writing with him spamming THE BEAR AND THE BULL THE BEAR AND THE BULL THE BEAR AND THE BULL over and over.

Sorry guys, I'm a Ulysses fan. Just knowing someone was out there that was apart of the courier's life is just really cool to me. As a truck driver in real life I know what it's like to be alone out there in the dark and I totally related to Ulysses much better than I did Josh. Besides, I'm a sucker for dreads.

Joshua has an interesting story. I haven't met Ulysses yet, so I can't say anything about him. Will be interesting to hear his story once I get there...

If Graham wasn't so religious, I would easily say him, but I do like Ulysses roughly on the same level as Graham.

Joshua Graham for me as he has an interesting backstory (getting burned alive), interesting motives (wants to protect his tribe by killing the other tribe) and was in Caesar's legion (who enslaved women and children). Yep Fallout is family friendly everyone lol

I think Joshua Graham is better because he is one tough son of a biscuit He was lit on fire and thrown into the grand canyon and he survived, no wonder people are scared when they hear about the burned man. Also his character looks really cool and he has a really good pistol as well, a silverballer from hitman

id have to say joshua more battle hardened and just hardcore lol.

Ulysses is the only character in the game with maxed out S.P.E.A.C.I.A.L. Perks so I'd go with him.

I love both of their characters but like @huntman75 said Ulysses has the maxed specials and he has a much more fleshed out character

I personally liked both, but, Graham was just a much richer, more "awesome" character in my opinion. Also @huntman75, there is actually 3 characters in the game with max Specials, and they're Colonel Royez and Gaius Magnus. They're found in the Long 15 and Dry Wells. Just a little known fact for you . Loved both characters in the end

Joshua Graham, of course!

I really liked how he looked, all bandaged up from head-to-toe in his personal SWAT team vest.
And his signature weapon is purely awesome, I used it a lot throughout most of my playthroughs.

And he's a fallen/former Legate! How bad-ass is that!

I really can't decide I like both characters, Joshua because he survived what he did and is just an over all cool character.
But Ulysses because he has so much player interaction and has seen many of your travels. Hard choice

Hmmm, well I stand corrected sir thank you for that. But none the less Ulysses is a statistically better player. While I do agree that Joshua Graham to me was a better character to interact with. Honestly I feel like the two players should have been included in the game a little more than the two shoddy DLC's.

Joshua`s history is much better.

Ulysses because Roger Cross, Yes they are both philosophical. Cross's voice work just does it for me.

Curious how both come from the legion.
I find Graham to be a better character, and overall I like him more. What I like about Graham was his change, and the conviction he has towards his beliefs, thing that I didn't find in Ulysses, I find him motivated only by anger, and his destroy the world ideas really don't go much with me, and even if Graham has a bit of this, Ulysses is scaled.

Ulysses fell flat for me. At the end of Lonesome Road I didn't really care for his story. Sick boss fight though I felt it was very challenging. Joshua Graham all the way for me!

I think Joshua Graham because in both lore and gameplay he who literally impossible to kill.

As has been said, Joshua Graham has the best story.
