Is it already known how the distribution will work? Are they going the Skyrim-route and you get a free copy if you already own the game? And if so will this be Steam-only (I'm asking because I have a non-dlc edition on Steam and the ultimate ed. on GOG)?
Maybe that's Bethesda's mysterious, not yet received game that supposedly shall hit the shelves this very same year?

so if Fallout New Vegas being like, remaster by Bethesda themselves on new Creation Engine & then sell it as a new game, will Obsidian also get involve(I don't think bethesda can remake New Vegas without people from Obsidian to help them) with this like get half profit from sell??

No, because to my knowledge Obsidian does not own NV - they just got a contract back then to develop the game for Bethesda. Meaning neither does Behesda need the involvement of Obsidian, nor are they under any obligation to share profits.

Anyway, while I remain skeptical I'm also not going to go as far as to dismiss anyone, overtly or by insinuation, as a liar (yet) - if they say they've been contacted to participate in a Creation Club beta for a FNV remaster I'll give them the benefit of the doubt; if it turns out its all bogus, well, all they've accomplished is a loss of face for basically no benefit.

It'd be fantastic if Bethesda were to remaster both games simultaneously, but I can see why they'd give the nod to NV - while I'm personally quite fond of the Capital Wasteland it's pretty much an incontrovertible fact FNV is a superior game to FO3 in regards to story and RPG mechanics, plus the improved shooting make it a better choice for integration into the FO4 model. Fan service is a factor, as well. So yeah, if true this decision does makes sense.

For now it's all speculation, but I can't say I'm not excited by the prospect of this coming to fruition.

What I find funny though is that my NV is basically already remastered with Dragbody's armour overhauls and ports from fallout 4, and with extreme graphical ENBs and mods...

If this is true then I probably will not get involved into it as only a few of the great current mods for NV on GUN and on the Nexus will likely be remade, so it would be like starting all over again with ENBs and armour mods, unless the mods from FO4's engine would be able to be played on the remaster.

New Vegas being remade on the FO4 engine would then allow FO4 assets to be used in New Fallout New Vegas (NFNV)? That confirmed, assets converted or created for NFNV (hmmm or Fallout New Vegas Re-mastered FNVRM oooh or FNV R-Spec...FNV Remix) could then be used in FO4? This could legitimize the Cascadia mod and the new armors just released from LoW and two games could use the same armor/clothing and my dreams of a truly unified gaming universe would be complete! While I'm at it...lets go ahead and just merge everything into one game and the protagonist from both games could team up as a two player co-op campaign into a post apocalyptic nirvana.

Whatever...this is just Todd's way of getting me to play FNV

If they do remaster it, maybe they'll do Oblivion next because the engine is similar. However, fuck if they do a creation club, and fuck if they do a new soundtrack. It'll be nice to see the beauty of Cyrodil in the new engine. I really love looking at Fan Art because it brings a certain life to the game, and if they can make the game look like art, I'll love it.

Why would they approach modders who port content from other games without permission and ask them to be on their microtransaction store? Not being rude here, but it's never gonna happen. Bethesda wouldn't deliberately get themselves into lawsuits like that, and I don't think they'd give any average Joe codes for CC without y'know, them actually buying the content. What would be the point?

The viability of the Skyrim remaster means a NV (or even FO3) version isn't out of the realm of possibility - they'd make a truckload of money for very little relative effort, and that seems to be Bethesda's formula...

I'm still literally having a hard time believing this as well. Aarius's screenshot of the backpack didn't look like a Fallout NV in Fallout 4's engine, it looked like a retextured Fallout New Vegas. I think he's trolling me (He could've said no to me) but I also find it hard to believe a profound member of our community trolling and lying to me so I dunno. Like I said, I wanted to use his backpack, I PM'ed him, asked him if I could have a download link, he told me he was in the Creation Club beta for Fallout NV, I dunno man. It would've made me SUPER happy to have it in my game, it's my birthday on Friday and I would've loved for it to be in my game. With the NCR patch and everything. Ya know?

The beta, as of now, uses a modified version of the engine to accept New Vegas assets. This is temporary to make development easier.
