Haha no, in fact we really liked your first screenshot, Juzkin. It almost made the cut. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough spots for all the great screenshots here. But we are grateful for participation either way!

I've just now added the breakdown of what made us love these screenshots and vote for them the way we did. I'll quote the whole thing here so that people don't have to check the previous page for it:

The WINNERS of the First Star Wars Month Screenshot Contest ARE:

1. @gabet347 - 3rd screenshot - Darth Vader-Fist (Battlefront 3)

This was voted on the fact that Vader already knew he was going to win, so his fist is raised up in a celebratory reaction. We were persuaded to concur after he waved his hand in a straight line and told us what needs to happen. We weren't force-choked thankfully closed eyes smile

Hehe! In all honesty, the picture is glorious enough on its own. The color contrast and lighting helped greatly: blue skies and white snow around the black and red embodiment of death. The angle and framing is more than proper, the lightsaber is lit and ready to swing and well... it does well to show the most iconic character of the series in his prime. We've all felt it's a fantastic representation of the saga and anyone who saw it would immediately know what it represents: Vader (about to or having just finished) kicking ass.

2. @Cpt.Rex - 2nd screenshot - Sandtroopers (Fallout New Vegas)

Spoiler:

This had a splendid composition. These sand troopers representative of an iconic scene: "These are not the droids you are looking for" said ol' Ben convincingly.
Granted, the droids, Obi and Luke aren't in the picture, but the set, the troopers and their equipment seems spot on. It even has the two suns! The lighting is also excellent and the amount of detail will have us staring for days (that's why we couldn't get much else done around here TongueTril

). It's odd that the main authority in all Star Wars related media on our site didn't win 1st place, I'll admit, but that's only because he was part of the jury and he couldn't vote for himself Wink

3. @beardofsocrates - 1st screenshot - X-Wing in space (Battlefront 2)

This screenshot was another favorite because it has several iconic elements. First, it's the starry background, and I mean, what is STAR Wars without some Stars in the background, amirite? Secondly, the fan-favorite X-Wing in action, zooming past the platform of a destroyer! And another destroyer in the background, but no other X-Wings in sight! It's like David versus 2 Goliaths! Well, if young Anakin, Luke or Poe Dameron are flying it, then I'm sure he'll survive. The slight horizon of the planet is also a pleasing, colorful element of the screenshot, as is the off-screen, yet well hinted at sun on the edge there. Iconic shot, well captured. Only thing making it better would've been an actual Death Star looming over! Go Red Squadron!

4. @Cruz011 - 1st screenshot - Darth Vader on ship ramp (Fallout New Vegas)

This shot was an ominous one. Although the lighting isn't as spectacular and perhaps some textures are a bit low-res, the scene is still compelling. It's almost that you can hear him step out of his ship, with the firm steps and heavy filtered breathing. The saber being charged doesn't mean he's here to say Hello. The imperial march is somehow hitting our brains even though our ear-drums are still. It's happening. The Dark Sith Lord has found us and there's no escape! Help us, Obi Wan Kenobi, you're our only hope!!!

5. @MrTrigun - 1st screenshot - Sith lady charge (SWTOR)

The last entry of this 5-spot winners circle goes to this lovely, beautiful, colorful, angry, intimidating, slightly insane and fully charged up Sith Lady. We didn't know her name, but she made a great impression. The outfit, the posture, the angle, the background set, the color contrast, the lighting, all compelled us to vote it more than those that didn't make the cut. We would like to know more about her, but not like at a date or face-to-face or something, she looks like real trouble TMHug-Royaba

Wow..thanks for the votes, guys. So here's some info on my Sith waifu.. BigGrin

The name's E'clair (derived from french word éclair = lightning).

All the description pretty much fits.. Colorful? Yeah, she's not your typical all black wearing mopey sith. Aaand "slightly insane" is a bit an understatement...she's a total cold blooded maniac...to her enemies. To her allies..a loyal friend. Developed a split personality during her time in slavery.

..anyway..you can meet her on The Red Eclipse server..currently roaming Rishi. ..and here's an up to date pic:
