I wanted a break from the dismal gray of the old site design. Back in January, after I had to disable the Christmas theme and we went from that beautiful green to our basic black and gray, I felt sad, like I'd torn off the leaves from the last tree's last branch.
It was then when I told myself that I'll add more color to our home,
and what better opportunity than our 1 year Anniversary?
I know, probably Valentine's Day would've been a good chance, but I figure not a lot of us have that special someone, and I didn't wanna twist the knife in anyone's heart over that (including my own  )
So here we go, returning to the old VGU's blueish roots, with new background and various other details. What we need, though, is collaboration. A single man cannot put together something enormous and magnificent. But fortunately I don't have to, because I have you lot
So I want you to suggest other image samples to place on the headers, other buttons for the topics and for the forums and subforums, and maybe even a cooler color palette.
All suggestions will be considered and all submissions appreciated.

| Was abit of a shock when i first was logging on as i didnt know this was gonna happen but i have taking a liking to it very quickly, really digging the Gold text on a blue background to be honest ^^ (stands out way more) Happy Anniversary!

| The blue tones are actually comforting,
I could do with a little less teal, but I enjoy the format regardless.

| To be honest, I reloaded the page when I first saw it, lol. Wasn't expecting this but it is a welcome surprise and looks great! My thanks to the design team!

My thoughts:
The borders with the diagonal lines do make the blue font somewhat difficult for me to read at a quick glance but not too bad. Though it is still a little early in the morning and not even 1 cup of coffee down. |

| It's damn good a look for this site. Honestly tough as long as I don't have to look at the Halloween design for as long as possible I'm fine.
The orange black contrast is just gaudy looking. |

| I love the new theme. The text is more legible in color now. Before, the blue color of the text matched the background blue a little to close in shade, but the anniversary change makes it soooo much better. So thanks, I REALLY appreciate the change in colors.
