A user by the name of tomm434 was banned on the nexus, because he wanted to have his account closed. So if anyone is able to contact him, please tell him to put up his mods for download again or something like that.

Yep this is most likely the reason. I've talked to him a few times over the past few months and understand his real life is quite hectic. In addition, he's known to frequently butt heads with some users over various forums than can also add extra stress. He's a really nice and extremely helpful fellow as well. Shame he had to deactivate his account.

Turns out he was rather upset about the lack of recognition his mods were getting, whilst other "shitty" mods were getting front page. I can understand his annoyance, but as xilandro pointed out to me, if it's not mainstream and popular, it won't get to the front page, which is why something like his MGS markers might have been cool back a while ago, but not now. I'm gonna try and get his content off him so that people can still enjoy it.

This forum does not exist to discuss Nexus drama or why people there do whatever it is that they do. If he wanted his mods to still be available, they would be.
And furthermore @tgspy, regarding your 'get his content' comment - posting that guy's mods here without his permission isn't going to fly. So unless he's okay with it... don't.

@tgspy Under no circumstance you can redistribute mods without permission. I hope that's not what you are implying.
