By the way, when you get a chance you should pop over to the banner selection thread, there's a few banners there that are one vote shy of passing through (because so far only DVAted and I have voted on any FacePalm

), and you can nominate more replacers as well!

Things went quiet quite suddenly here.
well to break the silence, I nominate @MadBoy for demotion from the group. He's spent the better part of this year promising graphical improvements for the site, with constant excuses (school, exams, family, etc.), but hasn't yet come through
over the past few weeks (right after all the exams have ended) he hasn't even bothered fronting an excuse at all. it's damn near disrespectful.

other current gfx specialists may follow suit unless we see some voting here.

also, the smilies situation is still a bit unclear. I'll try to remove the bad eggs and add several of the sets suggested by TNS this evening.

And i would like to nominate @OakshieldDream to join the gfx specialst team. She gave me always feedback and helped me with resizing the the banners. So i think she will be a good help here.

Yes for Drayce128, although it's a bit early on
he doesn't quite have 400 posts like Cruz lol
but he made excellent banners and we're using quite plenty of them

Different story for Oakshield, though
I know she'd like to get back to the GFX crew
but she hasn't made anything that we're currently using.
feedback is alright, but I'd like to see some input into the site's appearance.

Also, I have a P1 Suggestion:
We hold a poll on which GUN mods are the best,
and we put those mods in banners which won't be on rotation.
And the mod author picks their favorite of several submissions representing their mods.

I like the idea of mod banners, yes from me. I'm also going to say no on Oakshield for now, I feel like having something you've made be in some part of the site's design should be a requirement of being on the GFX team.

okay well P1 or P2 discussions aren't designed to have 2 day pending periods lol closed eyes smile

it's time to sort out a way to figure out which mods should have their own banner. then we'll have to put in some work on representing them properly in a 900x200 format and then the mod authors will pick which they like most.

most mod i use are from Dragbody. so i suggest to pick out the popular ones, like Heroes of the Apocalypse, Riddick, Willhaven and so on... i mean every single mod of him is awsome. but if we make a banner for each mod then we wont be finished till christmas 2020 lol

we should ask some members to make screenshots of ech mods. something that matches good for banners. perhaps we could ask MrMeowMeow, AdvancedTerror, Tru3th, to make some screenshots. those come me to mind, cause i love their screenshots in the fallout screenshot section. they are always of very good quality.

oh that's a great idea. you should scout the screenshots topic for pics, and if you find some good ones, ask permission from the pic authors to use them.

of course we won't only represent dragbody's mods closed eyes smile

this site has a lot of other great modders.
I suggest each modder here with more than 2 releases represented.
we could, eventually, look for their release screenshots (in the release topics) if all else fails.
if not, we'll engage MrMeow and other fantastic screenshotters to take them for us TongueTril
