hey guys its your friendly neibourhood s.t.a.l.k.e.r and im going to start another new vegas playthrough....and id like to hear some suggestions if possible from anyone interested as to a good sniper rifle that I could use....id love to see what is the most popular one from the community

definition is a rifle with a scope , .308 or .50cal... takes long shots can be bold action or semi auto.. ive see a heap on the nexus and here on gun .... im interested in popular opinion

M14 would be a decent one. If you download the individual mod from the Nexus, it's in Doc Mitchell's bathroom, so you'll have it from the start.
