Okay, so recently I have seen a video on YouTube by JuiceHead that says that The Frontier will be released soon. I am so god damn hyped, I thought it was canceled cause it was overambitous, but its almost ready! I can't wait for it to release, I hope some modders will add patches and new things to it like in FNC. Most importantly though, I hope it will run well, there seems to be tanks and vehicles in it, so it will probably lower FPS by a lot.

Yeah, the frontier looks insane, devils wish does some crazy stuff in the engine. House of horrors and bionic augmentation are some of my favorite new vegas mods.

I'm quite hyped as well, the amount of new content looks pretty fantastic, and the vehicles that I've seen look pretty insane. The survival aspect of it also looks super interesting, I really loved both Frostfall and the Fo4 winter survival mod. Also, the city looks damn interesting, I loved all the packed together buildings - the aesthetic is what has me the most intrigued.

yeah i was actually going to post about this too. it looks incredible. Its likely the last really big mod of this size we will see for New Vegas and it looks like it will go out with a bang.

i cant wait for the drivable tanks and vertibirds its going to be amazing

Soon is relative, but I'm hoping it'll come out right when I least expect it. It'll be very satisfying to finally put two and two together. If New California can do it, so can they.

Man I've been waiting too long for this mod ever since Alchestbreach did those Dev Diaries video for the mod.

Been waiting for years - I recall watching the first few teasers and can't help but be amazed by the skills of the modding team. Especially that one part with lots of aerial vehicles being deployed into the city whilst under anti-air fire. The wait has finally paid off.

In response to whether it'll be performance heavy, I do remember that being a question in one of the Dev Diaries AlChestBreach hosted. In short I believe they said that pretty much any PC can run it.

All the new features are so enticing, but I'm curious with the quality in writting, quests they've made, and how the world feels like. I couldn't find it in me to finish Beyond Boulder Dome and New California because of these reasons, but I am excited for the space part in the mod. I heard that you get to go to space for the archimedes? If that's real hoh boy I really want to see more.

That's a very good point. Hell even AAA releases can have really poor or uneven writing, so finding good writers is no mean feat. But you could even get someone who is great at writing stories, but they suck at writing quests as a great quest needs to have a good story AND provide engagement from a gameplay perspective.
Fingers crossed the frontier team have done a good job in that respect.

I hate to be that but it was 'soon' back when Alchestbreach played some of it, what feels like (and might be) years ago. That said if it really does come out soon that would be a really nice surprise. I've gotten used to being interested in these projects but also managing my expectations as to whether they will ever actually release.

@Alixen The lead project manager Tgspy confirmed that it will be coming out in a few months. Also that perhaps that there might be another dev diary coming out, although that isn’t confirmed. He had just said it might happen again on elsewhere.

I've been hyped for this mod ever since I found out it was being worked on. It's insane how much content is being added in. Not only are we traveling but its to a nuclear winter! But I can't wait to go to space with the courier.

This mod is the only reason why FNV is still in my PC

Reminding that according to The Frontier Staff, the mod will have full support with Tale of Two Wastelands, so that's a whopping three whole maps (Capital Wasteland, Mojave Wasteland and The Frontier). Very excited for it.

Also the Year 3 trailer looks dope.
