| I love it to death, but it's so hard to get into, restartitis doesn't help either. |

How do you mean, "hard to get into"? What is it you're actually struggling with, assuming that you are struggling? |

| Is the starting Doc Mitchell hard to get into? Same place, same quest? Alternative Start should be obvious.
But for me, i like give myself more perks than available to fit my more experienced backstory more. Give myself a bit more exp - enought to be lvl 5.
Other than that, I think you should switch it up. Did a NCR playthrough? Try a independent one - legion one - house one before you do a NCR oriented one. Try out some challenges _________________ |

Play differently like you never did before, add quest and adventure mods. Or then you could try to challence yourself, for example play only with pistols, kill everyone or finish the game naked, et cetera. There is a lot of ways to make your game experience different. _________________ Walking down an unknown road |

| You could try playing other games, watching shows/movies, read a book, etc to get inspiration. I sometimes find myself struggling to create a character because I tend to make sure that it has personality. Watching tons of Spaghetti Westerns(helped me create my NCR and bounty hunter character) and playing tons of Warhammer 40k(BOS character obviously ) certainly did that for me back in the day. _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

| You could try playing it the way YOU want, not the way the game does. Recently started a game where I kill everyone I want, and it's kind of fun. |

| I recommend the Roleplayer's Alternate Start. It really makes those fresh starts feel even fresher, and they cut out the whole Doc Mitchell sequence, so it doesn't feel nearly as long. Even Yes Man ends up just taking off to the Strip and waits there. You can start in a totally different region based on your history and other choices you make during character creation, so...yeah, never has to be the same start twice! |
