Honestly, I'm just interested to see how this mod is used by the community. Since it's supposed to be a modder's resource upon release I'm hoping we get some new quest mods. Fallout 4 is so lacking in that department; it's honestly a shame.

I really don't think it'll be finished, but it's a hopeful message regardless! In the same vein as @Pre-Workout, I'm really hoping we get some new assets out of this!

Don't forget Lonestar for Fallout 4, or Skywind and Skyblivion for the TES players!

That said if it does stay active it won't be playable for a long time yet... Still it's cool to see that the initiative is been taken.

I'm really impressed with what the modder has achieved so far. Some of the areas do look a bit larger than in FONV however thats really minor compared to what has been done so far. If the modder is using this as a location for a FO4 quest I am curious what aspects of FONV will be added.. In either event well done..

Man that was one hell of an awesome recreation of the Bison and Steven casino from Primm. You sure can recognize the places, it's done well. Though quite an ambitious project to undertake.

@William Lionheart As far as I know the project is on a permanent hiatus without an update in a few months now. >_<

This was the team's last tweet as far as I know: "While we don't yet have a plan to move forward, the project has not ended. We love out bit of wasteland, there just isn't always enough time."

They're staying optimistic, but I think that's the project over, there. <=/
It's a pity as they've got some extremely thematic ideas and concept art as well as some really neat assets made especially for the project.

@IIHawkerII Darn, they did show some interesting stuff and the ideas they had where great. I always find these things when they shut down.

Why do nice projects like this always shut down?maybe cause the work is too hard ,i mean it is lot of work to "port" a game to a new engine, anyway the idea was nice if only game companies did things like this more often.

Just to clear up a few misconceptions. The FO4NV project is (still) in full swing and is not being made by only one person, there is a dedicated team behind it which is growing. In fact, anyone who feels they might be able to contribute and wants to do so is welcome to join the official discord and see what it's about, texture artists in particular are welcome. Additionally, the video in the OP is now quite old and very early testing, the map is being hand-built and the LOD issues has been sorted out. The end result is absolutely gorgeous, believe you me.

It also won't simply be a carbon copy remake, as obviously the dialogue system and skills have been changed between NV and FO4, limiting the options slightly. The quests, armor, weapons and locations all will make it over as faithfully as possible in order to preserve the atmosphere. Additionally, the project has incorporated the existing Wasteland Overhaul mod, bringing just about every classic weapon from FO1 through Tactics and to New Vegas to the game.

It looks good.... *shivers* too good...

I just wonder how they will implement the quests. Interesting nonetheless
