My favorite companions which I use and always use are Desmond Harper, Boone and Y-A-Y (A mod for ED-E that turns him into a Chinese UAV) they are the ones I took the screenshots with in the screenshot contest!

Cass Arcade and Veronica

Arcade: Love the voice actor, he plays the lead on "Chuck"
Veronica: Love how she is a dork and the voice actor is great on
"The Guild" and "Supernatural"

None because the AI is horrible and it always ruins the immersion in fights.

It would have to be my nine foot ghoul armed with an M249 SAW and equipped with a Crysis nano suit. His name is Bubbles.

Boone from New Vegas is still my favourite.

I just tried out Vincent Vincent and he reminds me of one of my good friends, he is very well done and the voice acting is impeccable! You should check him out for sure!!

Cass is probably my favorite for many reasons. Mostly just the awesome dialogue back and forth.

An honorable mention for me is Jericho from FO3. I think he could have been a much better character if J.E. Sawyer or Chris Avellone were in charge of creating his backstory. Unfortunately it was left up to Bethesda, which is why most of the FO3 companions feel flat and underdeveloped imho.

Still love Bethesda though.

I have to agree with this post. The biggest difference with FO3 Companions and New Vegas companions is the way the interaction with your companions differ. Since I can have both games companions with me through mods, the Fo3 ones are bland and there is no conversation or back and forth with them so it's like yeah Jericho is with me and I can't really talk with him and all he does is complain about thinking I was supposed to be a bad ass as he smokes. Then I have say Boone or Cass with me and we can have discussions about their past or they comment about recent events and decisions I have made. So it does feel like I have a real companion with me.

My favorite is Boon but some times he get annoying when i want to test new guns because he shoots them before i get to them.

EDE in true passive mode I use him as floating storage device and crafting station not really a fan of the other followers simply because they make combat a bit to easy that said I do enjoy the new Vegas followers for their story lines though.

I usually pick Boone because he kills everything in one or two shots. I don't even have to waste my ammo.

My favorite companion is without a doubt Veronica. I go to the 188 as soon as possible, and I add her to my party. I love kitting her out in t-45d and the superheated saturnite fist. I also play through dead money just so I can get her Vera's dress. It's too bad she won't wear the bloody thing. > Why you gotta be so stubborn Ms. Day?

I like to have company of Niner. So far from all companion mods i've tried i find him the best because of his dialogues,quests and jokes(which are sometimes irritating so i just ask him to shut up   and he does that which makes me wish if i could do the same for my friends in real life  )

In FO3, just Dog meat.

In FONV, it's Boone. not just because spotter perk and his precision shot, it's because that he is the only one won't get into my line of fire.

I like Vulpes Inculta - Fully-Voiced Legion Companion there is something special about him.

Charon, because I find his back story interesting and I like his personality.
