Occasionally I put on my own music when traveling both real life and in games but a lot of the time I prefer the silence and ambiance over the sound of music.

I pretty much only listen to music when playing very fast paced games such as Quake Live.

I listen to radio New Vegas mostly,however I have recently created a soundtrack specifically for fallout. It consist of Doow-wop and Artist like Johnny Cash. Suits the environtment very well.

The ambient music of New Vegas is just too good to pass up, especially that Fallout 2(?) music that plays when you enter Nipton. Other than that I'm pretty much always in a skype call with mates so music isn't really important to me.

Yup, almost always. I replaced the ingame radio music in NV with chillstep music, so no more Johnny Guitar!!

Gotta blast some Protomen while I play New Vegas, it's gotten to the point that it feels wrong to play New Vegas without listening to them, mainly Act 2 since it's got a Western feel to it, but Protomen nonetheless.

I listen to the radio, but sometimes I play RLF in the background.

I listen to a lot of rock, like Jimi Hendrix, or ill listen to other game  game soundtracks like Halo 3 ODST. I've gotten tired of listening to the same 10 songs on radio new vegas...

I do. Sometimes I'll let the H.A.M.Radio Podcast or RLF's play in the background. Sometimes it's not even Fallout related. I also LOVE listening to TheMagicSandwichShow, or LyingGhostShow.

I like to listen to classical music when i play fallout. This morning i was piloting the vertibird while the ride of the valkyries was on. EPIC

LOL, actually podcasts.. I switch back and forth occasionally just to hear a lil Three dog or Mr New Vegas.. But 50's era music, as good as it is, can get a lil old after awhile.

i listen to 70's rock as i traverse the new vegas wasteland. some three dog night  or the song brandi by looking glass, while fending off raiders eases my troubled heart

i like silence when im playing the elder scrolls or fallout but when i get involved in a warzone from a fallout quest mod i like to pull out my LMG and turn korn - dead bodies everywhere on my pipboy lol

I like the dead silence, but if i'm running into a firefight or just chilling in a casino, that's when i turn on some tunes.

I use my own favorite songs with the RACE radio station. You can have so many by just bulk renaming them and copying them right to the folder. It makes good for days where you wish your character had a hypothetical Ipod, or just to have more new lore friendly songs when you're tired of Mr. New Vegas or "Ain't That A Kick In The Head" for the 1000th time.

I don't have spurs that go jingle jangle jingle, either, and I'm sick of hearing about them. That song can move right merrily along.

Using a few modded radio stations. But sometimes podcasts and such.

For FO I generally have either Shodycast: "fallout lore" series / Gopher NV playtrough / Alchestbreach videos of mods or wonky quests.

For Skyrim mostly Gopher's playtrough , and rarely since I really inmerse myself in that game, hopefully FO:4 will allow for the same inmersion.

Yeah, i do. It's either RLF or Super Best Friendcast. Sometimes i just turn on some of the Alchestbreach mod playthroughs in a background.
