| Hey Guys, I'm wondering if anyone can help with this. As the title says, Whenever I try to enter the National Guard Recruiting Office, my game crashes. Sometimes just being near that area crashes my game. i also think it's definitely worth noting that I've been in the building before, and not had this issue. And yes I restarted the game. _________________ |

| I had a similar problem when I went to the cell containing back street apparel. It caused an immediate ctd. I had not made any changes or updates on mods since I last went there nor was a patch causing the problem. I confirmed the games files were ok and it was still causing problems. To fix the problem I loaded an earlier game and went to the area. When I found one that did not have a crash I loaded the game having problems - without dropping to the main menu.. I was then able to enter the area with no ctd. I did a full save and then dropped to the desktop before reloading.
Oblivion, Skyrim, FO3, FONV and apparently FO4 do not clear everything out of memory when you load a game when one is currently running. Because of that you sometimes can get lucky and resolve some minor game corruption when it occurs. It doesnt work all the time but in my case it did.
Hope this helps... _________________ - KCCO

Hope this helps... I tried loading to an earlier save, and it didn't work. I might not have gone back far enough, though, but now I'd lose lots of progress going back before I first encountered the issue. - lukaboot wrote:

Can you remind me if there's a proper way to format load orders here, I can't remember, thanks! _________________ |
