So i use RSA and NVEC in all my playthroughs. When i have to engage in combat all lead based projectile weapons have this super dense fog and my fps cuts down 10 or so. Can i somehow get rid of that smoke or is it just something i'm stuck with?

did you manually install or directly download it from the nexus (NVEC)? because its as simple as opening the the mod in winrar and looking through the files and removing them and then install that version of the mod.

i downloaded it manually but it's an executable. I can't get into the files. :/

Its an exe? strange, is their a NVEC ini in your directory? If not then i really don't know what to tell you.

I don't know if you are already using this, but if you are deactivate it see what happens.

If not install this see if it works. Having two versions of the same mod may lower FPS <3
