male replacer bodys issues

Everytime I install a male body replacer, whether it's Breezes or Roberts, my character has random solid black spots all over it, like it's missing textures or something. I gave up on trying to use body replacers because I couldn't get around this problem. Anyone else have this problem?

do you have archive invalidation activated? once you install it you need to reactivate it in your mod manager. Do you also have the archive invalidation in your new vegas directory cause that's essential to.

Yeah i had that problem too, sometimes its the armor that isnt compatible with Roberts or Breezes body replacer. Look for a patch for either replacer if your using an armor mod, but if your having trouble with the vanilla armor try installing these NMM compatible replacers by HiggsBp. They're easier to install and come with the DLC fixes

Reset the Archive Invalidation, worked for me.

at Fallout Mod Manager De-Activate Archive Invalidation and then re-activate it and sometimes you have to do it again

From my experience, this can be a complicated problem, especially if using mods like New Vegas Redesigned 3, FCO, or other mods that alter body textures.

In order to get things to work properly in my game, I have to instal the mods I'm using in this order:

Ghoul retexture for Roberts Male Body replacer
Fallout Character Overhaul
New Vegas Redesigned 3
Type3 & T6M Merge (Personal Merge of Type 3 body with mixture of T6M/Type3 Armors)
Roberts AIO - NMM Compatible-48535-1-3

In a nut shell, install the body/armor replacer last. Also make sure Archive Invalidation is toggled on. I personally use the version of AI that's integrated into Mod Organiser. If that doesn't work, might be worth posting the list of mods you're using. On the very rare occasion I've had this problem because a plugin was overwriting something my body replacer was; linking the mesh to an incompatible body texture.
