| Hey! I'm new to modding and really have no clue of what i'm doing, i managed to install a couple mods using vortex and nexus but here its now been 2 hours and all i've managed to do is make Pete look like a burnt chicken nugget " /> i don't really know about the other mods required to make it work and the only post that could help use unecessary complicated vocabulary wich i dont understand since english is not my native language. Fallout NV is my favorite game of all time and playing it with mods is definitly one of the reasons i've bought a pc and now that i have all but the knowledge to mod i feel deeply frustrated. This is a desperate call. Thanks you for reading. Also nice work to dragbody for making these incredible mods! |

| Hi @weshcasoule! Sure I'm willing to help ya. I would say the first thing I'd recommend that should make things a lot easier for you, is to use Mod Organizer 2: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6194
Getting acquainted with that mod manager and using it instead of Vortex will really help you a lot I promise. I started out using Vortex and had tons of issues like the one you show here, but once I got MO2 (Mod Organizer 2) those issues were solved instantly.
After that you should be able to easily install whatever mods you want and I'd recommend putting Dragbody's mods at the bottom of the load order list. The last mods to load will generally overwrite those above them in the load order. If that doesn't make sense to you yet, I'm willing to break it down and explain whatever you want. You could also contact me on another platform if its easier for ya, I have discord, e-mail, steam chat.. whatever is easiest for ya. |

| Could be that Archive Invalidation isn't active in vortex, but it might just be that you need to make changes in Fallout.ini / FalloutPrefs and setting bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1. Hope that helps. |

Also nice work to dragbody for making these incredible mods! Hey man, first of all: abondon Vortex. Its not good - at all. Use NMM or MO2. And stay with one mod manager. Don't use more than one on one game. idk if you already got it but: since FNV is old and unstable start with: (Use a clean installation for the best results) xNVSE NVAC NVSR The Mod Configuration Menu Yukichigai Unofficial Patch Unofficial Patch Plus Navmesh FIxes and Improvements Sandbox's annoyances FNV Mod limit Fix Now you should get some good ini files. There are some decent ones uploaded to grab. (make the read-only and leave then read-only) I also dont know if you are using FCO or NVR but if not intall dragbodys mods after these mods and the ones above. Overwrite all. On the other hand no other mod should overwrite Drags mods. Sincerely, Cedric |

| i use MO2 personally its very user friendly and good for starter modder and a clean install is def recommended.
i run NVSE( New vegas script extender) - is a must to run most mods NVAC (New Vegas Anti Crash) - as it says MCM (Mod configuration Menu) - needed for some mods and lets you change what that mod does in menu FNV Mod limit fix - ups the load order
Also if you are using FCO or NVR i usually just run one of those to go with dragbodies because it usually messes up the skins for me.
also make sure you have archiveinvalidated on and id also suggest downloading LOOT
Loot basically sorts your load order
the load order should look like this
FCOmaster.esp FCOrace addons.esp other mods dragbody mods.esp other mods
one more question, are you running an ENB by chance?
Takashi
