| Roleplaying is why bethesda is as successful as it is. So I got to wondering...does anyone have any wacky/insane builds that are fun? |

| I don't really have a build. I usually pick a perk or a weapon and build a character around it like for example I decided to create a character based on the cowboy perk. You have to choose which weapon on that perk you want to specialize on like a knife, a pistol or a rifle. Then you decide if you are going to be vats heavy and stuff and so on and so forth... There is also the Fudgemuppet builds so... _________________ Will there be enough Dakka? |

| Not sure if it counts as a build but just about every single NV character I make ends up using "That Gun" and either "This Machine" or another M1 Garand added by a mod. The ping of the Garand is always satisfying and besides just being an awesome Blade Runner reference That Gun is a neat fusion between classic old school western revolver and new age hi-tech sci-fi gun since I myself tend to lean back and forward between the two themes as I play. |

| Nothing too wacky, but an unarmed build is always fun, especially in FO4 what with blitz and all.
Oh and the criticial animations are amazing for completely unarmed characters. _________________ - My Achievements:

| For somebody like me who plays a lot with damage modifiers that make it so you can die in one shot, I more often than not play a sniper build. I use high damage weapons from a distance to help me survive better and then use a pistol or shotgun for when the enemy gets too close for my rifle.

| I normally just invest a shitload of points on speech and barter to talk my way out of trouble and get better rewards. |

| My characters usually always end up being some kind of commando/mercenary type build.Using mods like realistic weapon damages make melee builds not really viable and I personally never liked the unarmed and melee skills. Also always use mods like Weapons of the New Millenia or other high quality weapon mods,so I always want some shiny rifle or trusty shotgun in my hands. Also got into the habit of always having five weapons on me at all times. An assault rifle(Currently using an AK-74 from GUN,forgot which one specifically) for mid to long range engagements,a sub-machine gun for mid to short/stealth(AS-VAL from Millenia),a shotgun for close quarters combat(M37 Ithaca also Millenia),pistol for backup(Colt 1911 from you know who) and a knife for sneeki breeki takedowns(KABAR. Need I say more?). Also carry around five frag grenades with me. They also have high barter and speech skills to get as much reward money as possible. And I always take the Good-Natured and Trigger Discipline traits to further accentuate my character being a seasoned mercenary/soldier.
TL;DR: Commando build. Lots and lots of guns and booletz. _________________ |

| I am currently working on starting a Smuggler, sleezy courier. He currently is going to be adept in medical skills, have a decent silver tongue for trading, and usually backstabs anybody if the pay is even a tad bit higher. He has morals, so he's not a monster. He sides with the NCR, because he doesnt like the idea of enslaving people, and horribly killing them by letting them bake and rot on a cross. |

| F:NV, with Roleplayer's Alternate Start and More Perks/Traits...
STR 6, PER 6, END 6, CHA 4, INT 7, AGI 6, LCK 5 -> 6 Str for the weapon requirement.
Traits: Skilled, Ranger (+1 Agi, Big Iron, more likely to be crit-hit by Fiends and Raiders) -> You can also go Small Frame or Built to Destroy instead of Ranger.
Weapon Preference: Rifles -> Pistols or Shotguns are also fine.
TAG Skills: Guns, Sneak, Survival -> Explosives can substitute Sneak, and Repair can substitute Survival if either are preferred.
History: Assassin (+5 Guns and Explosives, Demolition Expert 1, -5 Energy Weapons, Shotguns less accurate). -> Could also go with one of the NCR backgrounds too, for a more immersive roleplay.
Primary weapons: Mysterious Magnum or Big Iron, and Medicine Stick -> I don't like my pistol using the same ammo as my rifle. |
