Subject: Two copies of FONV anyone know l can run them... Tue Apr 17, 2018 4:27 am
l am curious... Has anyone else got 2 copies of FONV and if you do have you tried to run both at the same time? l have a steam and a GOG version.
l fooled around with them one using FOMM the other NMM and they kept trying to take over the other game? l thought l had removed all old game saves but l think gog's was getting cloud synced so l found that setting and disabled it.
Anyways l had poor success with my trial and was hoping to hear if anyone has some tips or ideas on how l can make it work. Cheers

You can't run Steam and Gog version at the same time, because they are the same game. The only difference is that you don't need Steam for the Gog version.
They even use the same .ini/save forlder.

Hi Yeah thanx for that hedzup its what l suspected given the issues l had trying to make it work. l was holding out a slim hope there could be a work around. Nevertheless ty for the reply and back to the drawing board LOL.
