Do you ever think when your gun breaks it should like explode in to a million pieces like in far cry 2. It always bugged me that you just unequip your gun.

yea and different weapons have different effects. missile launchers explode in ur arms and knock you out. Or pistols break your right arm. Etc.

That would be an awesome random encounter. Seeing some dude try shooting a rocket launcher and blowing himself up. All jokes aside, I think it would be pretty cool to see.

Something that would be nice would also be if we destroyed the enemy's weapon, it would explode as well. Just as a missile launcher when it broke would explode in our face, when we hit the enemy launcher it would explode in their face! That would be awesome

If a gun is damaged beyond use I'm not sure if it would in fact explode; it would just stop working, although I could be wrong.

An interesting concept, nonetheless

I believe that weapons that could explode would be explosive weapons like missile launcher, Fat Man, grenade launcher, etc.
